At Down the Woods we appreciate the value of social time for adults and children regardless of location, as much as we love the outdoors we recognise that a more traditional, indoor approach has its benefits also.
With this in mind we are hosting a stay and play group in Little Berkhamsted village hall where adults and their children can meet in an informal environment to chat, play and have a cuppa in a friendly and safe environment.
Each week the hall will be set up with a variety of activities aimed at children up to five years of age including craft and stories focussed around a nature based theme.
The sessions are led by a qualified Early Years and Primary School teacher, with two children of her own whom she currently home educates.
